David Arroyo is a Nuyorican graphic designer, artist, and writer based in New York City, working in fiction and non-fiction media. His graphic design work embraces handmade & digital techniques to create unique cohesive designs. He focuses on books, logos, brand design, and print / digital marketing assets. Skilled in graphic design, photography, and film, he can adapt any design project, and span it across all forms of media.

His studio art practice uses experimental techniques to create projects rooted in storytelling. His art weaves through autobiography, history, self-portrait, and conceptual studio projects. Drawing / painting, photography, hand-cut collage, and handmade embroidery are his primary mediums. His art, photography, and experimental films have earned commendations, honorable mentions and finalists distinctions, in both domestic and international contests. He also creates projects that explore oral history and audio poems.

His writing focuses on poetry, non-fiction, and speculative fiction. Currently, he’s writing the first draft of his fantasy verse novel, The Crystal Seers. He's also developing a book on Nuyorican artist Jorge Soto Sánchez, focusing on his life, art, and writing.
